ARFID Awareness UK has been chosen by Syngenta UK’s Jealott’s Hill site to be the charity they support for 2020. Every year, The Recreation Club Operations Team selects one charity to fundraise for, evaluating applicants against a strict set of criteria, one of which is that the funds raised need to be for a specific purpose (or partially meet the required funds for a specific purpose). Together with Trustee member Alison Beasley, nominator, Melanie Ernest put together our application form at the end of 2019 for consideration. The funds received will go towards covering some of the basic running costs of ARFID Awareness UK including the renewal of our website hosting platform, domain name fees, and bulk emailing capabilities.

Thank you to Melanie Ernest and the selection committee at Syngenta UK’s Jealott Hill site.

2. Listen for Trains

A dinging bell + flashing light = train incoming. It moves faster than cars.

Player note: The train sound cue is reliable across all versions. Even without looking, you can time your stop.

3. Tap Behind Your Character

Tapping the middle of the screen blocks your view of upcoming cars. Tap near the bottom instead.

Tested: In a 2023 player survey (r/CrossyRoad, 500+ responses), "finger blocking view" was…
